Living in a countryside house with my family and ibizan hounds, praque ratter, chickens and african giant snails.
I have lived with dogs since I was 7 years old. My family had rough collies through my childhood. When I moved on my own, I had my own rough collie with me and got a smooth-coated collie as well. I was introduced in obedience and dog shows.
In my twenties I found this fascinating breed called ibizan hound. I saw a picture of Sniffens Sheshe on the internet and tried to find all information I could get of the breed. After two years I got my own ibizan: Necronomicon Fast'n Fabulous (year 2002) and I have had them since then. Bramblewood's Britney Deluxe came from the US in 2010. Barrongiz Not A Moment Too Soon 2011 from Sweden, Dalila Back To Innocence from Netherlands 2012...
My life with dogs has also been full of studying how to understand, communicate, teach and take the best possible care of them. It is constant learning and I still do it. I started teaching small groups of people with their dogs in 2005 and I have taught obedience, agility, show and rally professionally and now just occasionally. I am part of the finnish kennelclub read-dog voluntary work, and I have a passion to learn new things about dogs and everything dog related. I want the best possible life to all of us with our loved pets.
As a breeder, I am always there for the owners of my puppies, and help in every way I can. I study pedigrees way back and health is the most important thing I keep in mind. Next is character and then we can talk about looks and colors. With this rare breed, all this is not easy. We have to co-operate over the countries, connecting other breeders with honesty and keeping the original Spanish breed in mind.
